Dresden greeted me early morning with its picturesque Brühl's Terrace, adorned with impressive baroque architecture and marble statues.

As I wandered through the city, I marveled at the grandeur of Zwinger palace and found myself drawn to the fascinating exhibits at the Science and Technology Museum. The day's early gloom began to lift as the clouds parted, and the brightening weather seemed to mirror my growing excitement.

One of the highlights was visiting the intriguing Panometer exhibit, where I immersed myself in the vivid and lifelike Amazon rainforest experience. Yadgar, with its stunning capture of serene landscapes, provided a peaceful nature retreat before I boarded the train to Prague.

In Prague, I settled into a student hostel near the city center. Early morning walks led me to the enchanting Charles Bridge, shrouded in tranquility with few visitors. I learned about the bridge's mystical beginnings attributed to Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV's numerological beliefs.

Old Town Square captivated me with its rich historical significance, adorned with architectural marvels and cultural vibrancy, including the striking Jan Hus Monument symbolizing Czech reform and national identity.

The Astronomical Clock, a marvel of medieval engineering, and the Church of Our Lady before Týn left lasting impressions. Being the oldest functioning astronomical clock in the world, it's intricate design and precise mechanics were a testament to the ingenuity of its creators.
