It was a meticulously planned weekend after the Swiss mishap. Despite my initial intention to go solo, I opted for the student trip for its convenience and cost-efficiency. Early on, I indulged in Mexican tacos, nachos, and an ice cream cone in Frankfurt before departing on time with Inka as our guide once again.
We arrived early morning in the enchanting city of Hallstatt. While others hurried to take photos by the lake, I ventured south for a quieter, more personal experience.

The serene south bank offered solitude amidst stunning natural beauty, perfect for some introspective moments and a quick video call home.

Afterward, I explored the bustling city center, visited the Salt Mine, the Marktplatz and enjoyed some local fries. As I took a stroll across the picturesque river, I felt grateful for the tranquility and majesty of Austria.

Off to Salzburg! Ascending the fortress via funicular provided breathtaking views, followed by a leisurely stroll back down.

The Salzburg Card covered everything, making the trip even more enjoyable. I then embarked on a cable car journey to Untersberg, a serene escape into nature's embrace.

There, I found solace and embraced solo time, exploring the adventures that awaited me.

Mirabell Palace and Gardens charmed with their elegance, and a light meal at Subway rejuvenated me for further exploration. The meticulously maintained gardens, with their vibrant flowers and stunning sculptures, were a sight to behold.

As the day came to an end, I returned to a park near Hauptbahnhof. To top it all off, I enjoyed a delicious fireplace pizza, a suggestion from my friend Ananya. The trip was a perfect blend of exploration, introspection, and relaxation, leaving me with cherished memories and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of travel.
